Chief Engineer
I provide technical guidance, mentoring and oversight of the technical activities undertaken at KISPE.
My professional background:
I have been with the company since 2018. Prior to that I was with Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) for 15 years; eight of which were as SSTL's Chief Engineer, working on 20 different missions, from Earth observation, to frequency filing for Galileo and Technology demonstrators.
After graduation I spent over 12 years at the Royal Aerospace Establishment delivering four technology demonstration satellites as well as working on European Space Agency technology research programmes, including testing the developmental ion thrusters that were to be flown on BepiColombo, an international mission to explore the planet Mercury.
I graduated from Southampton University with a BEng in Aerospace Systems Engineering, and I am a member of, and hold Chartered Engineer status with the Royal Aeronautical Society.
What I enjoy doing:
In my spare time I enjoy running and travelling to out of the way places.
