My professional background:
I joined the company in 2018. Prior to joining KISPE, I worked across the space and defence domains, starting my career as an Electronics Engineer before transitioning across to Systems Engineering. This has included working on safety-critical systems as well as designing, integrating and testing various onboard data handling units for satellites.
Academically I have an MEng in Electronics with Space Science and Technology from the University of Bath as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Engineering for Defence Capability from Cranfield University (Shrivenham).
I am a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Within INCOSE I am on the MBSE Interest Group Committee and involved in a number of the workstreams.
I have spoken about, and generated papers on open source, systems engineering and space across a number of different forums, including the Annual Systems Engineering Conference (2019), the Model Based Systems Engineering Conference (MBSE CON 2021) and at AstroAgency's SpaceBar.

What I enjoy doing:
In my spare time, I enjoy baking (the freezer is always well-stocked with cake and bread!) along with running and hiking to balance off the baked goods! I have also started a foray into creative writing and harbour ambitions of writing a book. I am a STEM ambassador and enjoy engaging with young people and passing on my passion for engineering and space!
